Because I want to diffuse someone that obviously doesn't seem to feel like they're being heard? If this is how you treat everyone that come out swinging from pain then you're not opening a dialogue and are just as bad as the left cancel culture garbage and might as well just commit that you're not here to rationally discuss anything or bring people around, which I don't think is the case for most of us here.
