"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" is flawed in that there are MANY who do not and have great difficulty loving themselves. Lots of self hating white liberals out there. It's certainly something I've struggled with at times.
They key is to forgive others and yourself. By forgiving, Heavenly Father will also forgive you. Forgiveness is the greatest weapon/sword against the dragon.
To understand what the dragon is, you may want to watch this Jordan Peterson segment. (It has helped me as well)
Wow! I really like how this guy presents himself. I need to look more into him. Any quick synopsis of what he's about and how he trys to accomplish it?
Jordan Peterson is a psychologist, but he got more into Carl Jung. He is worth checking out. I sometimes put his talks on while doing stuff around the house. He is mostly about helping people through psychology. However he also uses christianity and morality as a way to improve in our every day life.
What he touches in this video (below) links with the video in the OP.
I struggled with that too. You aren't alone. But once you discover the kingdom of God within you. That changes.
Luke 17:20-21 King James Version
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
I've recently (like yesterday) started to delve into some Bible study. You are the 3rd person since then who has referenced Bible verse in my casual encounters throughout the day
Tell me more about this "sight"... I've always felt very different than others (usually not a bad thing) and I've spent a lot of my life trying to understand it and make sense of it. I've always had a very strong personal connection to god/the universe that trandscends the typical manifestations of religion.

I highly recommend watching his biblical series. They are on youtube (for now).

The rest of that passage is pretty heavy. I'm already seeing the interesting aspect of interpretation within the Bible
That's good news. It means you have the sight. Its a gift not many people have. Stay the course. You are close to discovery. :)
