They kept telling people the MAGA hat is the equivalent to a Klan hood. The people who chimpout at the sight of a MAGA hat aren't going to take the time to sus out the difference between them before they start swinging. Heck, I believe there was a few incidents where someone was attacked for a hat that just looked like a MAGA hat.

Guarantee we'll see some get attacked as a result.
