I can't imagine they don't already know. If they don't? They're not doing their jobs. Although to be fair, the NSA is most likely not doing shit about it even if they do know.
My hope at this point is that Military Intelligence, regardless of the political brass, and outside the corrupt CIA, has been working on all of this. We have an all volunteer force and while some will absolutely be corrupt and others will absolutely be cowards, there's a large number of patriots that are there because they want to be there. Because they are Sheep Dogs. Because they want to protect this country. I can't imagine those people standing by while all of this is happening even if we're not physically seeing it.
EDIT: Oh and further, a lot of these folks are competitive. Competitive people don't just lay down and lose.
