Maybe this is my own LARP. Maybe I'm reading too much into things. However, I feel as if we're going to see a speech at some point from Trump that can be summed up as "I'm a deal maker. I don't want to be in this position. I tried to give you every chance to make a deal. I used every method from Art of the Deal. I gave you so many warnings. But you still didn't listen. Now I have to do some things that I really don't want to do. Here's <insert Pompeo, Military Int, Whomever here> to explain what's going on as I'm speaking to you."
I'm hesitant to read more into this than what Pompeo actually said. But it would help explain the (in)-actions of the "Republican" Governors, SOSs and others involved in election "sloppiness" (to be kind) get out and fight for USA, Trump and 75-80 million MAGA voters.
Trump famously said "we caught them all". Pompeo knows more that he can spell out.
It may be wishful thinking on my part, but if this was allowed to happen as a big sting operation - damn that would be glorious.

We need to enforce treason with public hangings. In the future, if at least one person per year does not hang, we know the government has been entirely corrupted.

I also think it must go down that way probably at the same time thousands are being arrested.
