I very often see stickies in less than 5 minutes. I'm guessing they scroll through new when something breaks and sticky a random one. Mods seem to be quite good around here.

Either way, who really cares? It's not like our TDW points count for anything outside of here lol.

Have you ever thought that maybe Mods are just browsing the site and stickying things they think are good or relevant? Have you ever thought that mods may, at some point, visit [New]?

No. Because some people have here personal contact with mods so they get insta stickied. Sometimes you see people with two stickies at the same time, so the OP with the most karma points is being help up while the other is removed.

These points don’t MEAN anything.

It’s fun when I see my numbers go up. I was grateful and slightly emotional when I got my first (and only) sticky.

But seriously who cares? We’re here to MAGA not cry about not getting stickied

Only one sticky? Those are rookie numbers! Keep shit posting! Keep making memes!

One: If a user is friends with a mod, and gets preferential sticky status for the purpose of updoots, what exactly would be the point?

Two: If a user is friends with a mod, and that user is posting relevant information as a trusted source, why would this be a bad thing?
