It's true, failure culture is real. I played sports my entire youth, was rarely on a winning team, got one 3rd place trophy and a couple MVP pins. My brother, 10 years younger, has a room full of participation trophies, ribbons and pins - and went straight commie in college.

one way to lower student debt: stop differentiating between "prestige" of schools. The DEGREE is the important thing, not where you got it. If it's an accredited institution, who cares if it's Harvard or a cheap state school? People are being told that just because a school is one of the oldest or most expensive or has the strictest standards, it MUST be the "best". Not true.
