This surprised me. He came across as incredibly thick during the hearing, but at the end showed some intelligence. I had some respect for him for his Colombo-esque demeanor.

I'm glad she was willing to come forward and testify, but it's not out of line to suggest that she had a couple too many alcoholic beverages on board -- that was my impression too.

He was trying to change her behavior after she started going off the rails and repeatedly interrupting a legislator who was politely trying to ask her a question.
