-This "benefit" lasts less than 15 minutes because moisture in the breath causes pores in the mask filter to enlarge. Meaning masks must be constantly changed to be "effective".
-There's been shown to be higher rate of infections for people wearing cloth masks vs. no masks at all (due to wet bacteria trap directly in front of mouth.
