As Trump has stated, the mainstream news outlets and press are “the enemy of the people.” We all want a truly free press, a press that can investigate and report on literally anything. But we also need an honest press. Everyone has some bias, no one is truly neutral. But having a bias while at least attempting to report the facts honestly is completely different from the constant deception and coordinated propaganda that has been rampant in the “news” business for years.

We all know some kind of ‘Federal Bureau of Truth’ would become an abomination almost immediately upon inception. So what can be done? How do we enforce honesty in reporting and still maintain journalistic freedom and independence? I’m looking for real suggestions that we can advocate once this election mess is settled. (This is on my MAGA wishlist for President Trump’s next 4 years, along with election reform, and abolishing FBI, CIA, DOJ & IRS.)
