As a former D1 swimmer who has discovered jits and has fallen in love with it. My personal opinion, obviously biased, best cardio outside of grappling that translates to grappling is swimming laps. Give it a try!
Learn more boxing, I love grappling was a division 1 wrestler for Oklahoma State for 4 years, have dabbled in a bit of Catch wrestling over the years since attending some workouts in Wigan about 15 years ago while stationed in the Europe. However, chances are if you're going against Antifa it's not going to be a situation where one would want to be on the ground working a submission..Group fights mean you want to be standing as much as possible, work takedown defense, clinch work, and recovery to dominant positions so to regain a standing base as quickly and safely as possible.
seriously. started getting the friends together again for sparring and jiu jitsu rolls in our garage pad setups and tons of cardio since june lol
Grateful gyms are open in FL and our coach has been running jits classes.
