See this was my thought, and she also said she was mad trump sent all the military back home. and my mom had said that isn’t that good that people are home safe or something and she got extremely offended and said she doesn’t need to be around our comments about the military. (That was the only thing my mom said and she said it in the nicest way possible, no attitude or nothing)
Just because someone is in the military doesn't mean they're automatically a genius or that they have any special powers. Deserving of our respect for serving? Sure. Beyond that, they get one vote just like you do.

Trump added $130 Billion a year in funding. He diverted only a few billion for the wall. Look at military funding before he took office and then show the dumb bitch that the military is still $125 Billion a year to the positive.
I think I understand where they are coming from. We have military posts all over the world and trump has an american first agenda.. eventually that will mean that we will have less military personnel. We can't have them sitting in the u.s doing nothing after all some will be kept for trump's new special operations military intelligence force but that won't be a whole bunch. Personally I think they could probably be brought in specifically to get the massive gang issue we have under control But I'm sure people would find that somewhat distasteful. And maybe replace border patrol with them but it does bring up an interesting point. What are we going to do with all the extra military people.

With all due respect to many folks who have served or are serving now, sadly, there’s a fair chunk of the military that is indistinguishable from the typical people you find working at the post office or the DMV... or worse. Shit went severely downhill with Clinton and has mostly been a downward spiral since.
