This is the thing that's frustrating about people calling dems Nazis. Modern communists literally pull their playbook from bolshevik revolutionaries in Tzarist Russia, and the single most comparable entity historically to modern America is the Wiemar Republic. Most people who compare dems and progressives to Nazis have not studied this section of Germany's history, summarized in the following meme: "And then one day, for no reason at all, Germany elected Hitler to power."
