Thats like me telling a business partner, "look, like I told my last business partner, if we have a disagreement, I will sell my shares in the company and you will be on your own". To me that means both that I told my last business partner that I will sell my shares, but I am also telling my new business partner that in the event of a disagreement I plan to do the same thing I did last time. If I was only trying to say the former I wouldnt say anything or would say "I told my last partner x, but thats not what I plan to do this time".
