My last trip over to the states was early November, I got super sick the day after I landed and was bed ridden almost my whole 2 weeks. Horrific cough, fevers, even coughing up blood in the second week. Never been so sick my whole life. I couldn’t lie flat for 10 days cause I’d just cough my guts up. We don’t have antibody tests here in NZ but you bet your ass I’m getting one when I get there in a few months. As soon as I heard about covid I thought it had been around way longer than December because of it.

I think the point is that whether you had it or not, the test is so flawed that it will show a positive result either way. Personally, I was in Sikkim, India last year and got really sick, starting the day after Christmas 2019. I was about 20 kms from the China/Tibet border so, I guess it's not that surprising it might have reached there at that time. I guess I was within that 99.9997 survival group or I wouldn't be posting this right now.
