No. He was an idealist libtard. He has continued to fuck shit up long after his presidency was over.

Carter's idealism along with his Christianity was just an act that the press promoted to pull the wool over the eyes of the American public. Btw, I had been politically aware since I was 11 (1971) and very conservative. By the time I was 14, I had read most of Ayn Rands books. So I have been following things very closely for a very long time. Jimmy Carter was setting up the nation for what we are seeing today. He was a globalist.

I got started kind a early too. I was about 12-13, road my bike up to the store one day, they had one of those old newspaper dispensers outside, and the headline took up the whole window, "WAR!". I bought a paper and read the hell out of it, been paying attention ever since. That was when I made my mind up that it was our strategy to use everyone else's oil up before we tapped in to ours (exclusively) . Couldn't figure out why the hell else we were over there. Even then I knew they were lying about all that humanitarian bullshit. Same with Carter's HUD housing program. Gigantic waste of time and money, but him and his buddies made plenty off of it.

I was a paper boy between the ages of 11 and 14. I read the paper every day.

I wonder how many people remember that legions of boys used to ride bicycles around the city at 04:30 in the morning delivering papers. I remember a few years agom so mom being charged with child endangerment because she let her 11 years old boy walk to the local park by himself. It's total BS that society became more dangerous. The left hates the idea that boys can experience independence and self reliance as they learn how to make money.

He wasn't very bright. Made a Big Deal out of being a Christian, which no candidate had ever done before.

Killed America's energy production with regulations and taxes. Very weak foreign policy, which emboldened our enemies esp. Iran. These two together caused an "energy crisis," which he made worse by further crippling domestic energy production.

Confounded economists by causing high unemployment AND inflation at the same time, which was supposed to be impossible.

There were jokes for years about him thanking Clinton, and then Obama, for making him no longer "the worst President."

A true Southern gentleman, but incompetent.

Everything Carter did was calculated and deliberate. The press helped him create the image most people have of him of a kind but naive Christian. It's all BS. The destruction of the US economy was his goal. He was an evil man.

My mom told me it was a most depressing time (until now, obviously) and he enacted numerous policies that brought America to its knees.

For example: have you seen the movie Scarface? Carter’s desire to be buddies with Cuba led his bleeding heart to boldly welcome Cubans to America, which annoyed Castro. What did the conniving Castro do? He emptied the prisons of their worst and the criminally insane from mental asylums and shipped those bad boys over to Miami. A lot of the Cubans without family already in America had to live in tent cities until they found a sponsor. It was a shitshow.

Carter was a top tier RETARD.. made our country look like chumps. On the bright side, we got Reagan!

He was a kind and idealistic person, but completely failed, sucked, and then sucked again as a leader and President. The man was very naive.

P.S. But his brother was certainly "colorful" Any older Pedes remember his brother Billy and Billy Beer?. He was piece of work.

Ah Billy Beer. We elected the wrong Carter.

No Carter would have still been better. But Billy was definitely entertaining.

Jimmy Carter was a terrible Commander-In-Chief. He had no idea how or no will to wield the most powerful military in the world and let us get walked all over.

Loves Islam though. Btw, his Christianity was just an act. You could tell by the things that came out if his mouth. They were things that someone with a little knowledge of Christianity, but no real understanding would say. He was an evil man.

Good Christian, very thoughtful, terrible president.

The US had become a laughing stock under Carter, including the Iranian hostage mess and the rise of the Ayatollahs.

Reagan was the solution to that, a lot like Trump has been the solution to Obama.

History doesn't repeat, but it rhymes.

His Christianity was just for show. He was a very evil man. During his time, almost all Americans still thought the news was trustworthy. They were just as corrupt as they are today. Most Americans don't have a clue about what he was doing. He was working in the background for globalism.

The raise of militant Islam was aided and abetted by him. What most don't realize is that Sudan was the real source of terrorism. That was were all of the training camps and weapons catches were and probably still are. Almost all terrorists of all strips, like the IRA, Red Army Faction, Muslim Brotherhood, etc. trained there. Then Sudan worked to destroy Somalia and Ethiopia. That fell into Carter's plan. All of the aid that was being sent to Africa was designed to undercut the economies of African nations. Can't farm crops if there is no market. The globalists have always been working overtime to make every African nation a dependent state. Btw, militant Islam was created by Marxists as a tool to weaken the west. There are two branches, one Sunni snd one Shia. Russia lost control of the Shia resulting in the mess that is now Iran. Russia invaded Afghanistan to create a buffer zone so that radical Islam didn't spread to all of their stans. Jimmy Carter was working in the background to make all of this happen. Africa is a shit hole today because of Imperialism, Marxism, Islamism, and Carter.

He was directly responsible for destroying the economy of the US. The gasoline crisis and the great recession were engineered events. We have never truly recovered.

I have the same question except for Ronald Reagan.

My sister's socialist boyfriend says the reason countries never had "True" Socialism is because Ronald Reagan destroyed those countries with sanctions and various other thing. He absolutely hates Ronald Reagan, I personally don't know a damn thing about Reagan.

3
DesertYote 3 points ago +3 / -0

Reagan set back the plans of Marxists to destroy the US 30 years. The left hates him because he destroyed all of their hard work. The only thing he missed was draining the swamp, especially the DOJ. I guess he didn't realize that the DOJ, along with all of the other three letter orgs, was completely in the hands of the Democrats.
