As I understand it, the two big covid vaccines donβt work that way - they donβt use dead virus.
Instead, they reprogram your cellular machinery to produce covid proteins, so that your immune system is primed for a covid infection.
Iβd guess it blocks production of other proteins just because the mRNA sent replace the instructions for said other proteins.
As far as I understand it, this is supposed to be a temporary effect. Your body only produces the covid proteins for 48 hours or so then stops. But who knows for sure if there are no long term effects? Itβs only been tested a couple months.
