You guys have no idea how jealous I am that you can walk into a store in the US, and buy a gun without having to take the government mandated courses which are expensive, rarely held, and limit you to a .22 revolver that only holds 3 rounds.
If you want anything larger you must submit to a full anal probe by the RCMP which takes months for them to process.
Top it all off, not only are guns 10X more expensive here, they've now made all AR's and whatnot illegal, basically anything fun is off the table thanks to Blackface and his degenerate mob of idiots in Ottawa.
We're not all so lucky in the states. Fucking 120 dollar course followed by 75 dollar fingerprinting/background check fee plus another fee for your physical permit, and then you wait a few months despite our laws saying it should be a maximum of 3 weeks, then you can walk into a store and buy a gun, but it cant be one of those scary black ones. It is a ccw course which allows you to obtain both a pistol and rifle eligibility cert, but just to buy a rifle you still need to complete a course to recieve a "long rifle eligibility certificate." Bitch my certificate is the Bill of Rights.

It depends what caliber you’re shooting but even still virtually all suppressed weapons are not hearing safe.
So you dont bleed from the ears shooting indoors. Probably still get you some tinnitus though if you make a habit of it
Some calibers can get whisper quiet with the right suppressor and setup.
