The very same crooked internationally-linked software was used to successfully fix elections throughout the world over the past 30 years.
The US and the 5E either knew, or should have known about these fake election destabilization schemes.
Trump now has that evidence in hand.
Trump was previously stymied in his efforts to declassify materials by CIA Director Haspel and several other connected IC individuals.
All of the previously declass-blocking individuals (including Dir. Haspel who is currently MIA) have now been removed by Trump.
Would any of the above tend to justify Trump's continued swagger?
If you've read this far, you may next opine what the foreseeable geopolitical ramifications would be for both the US and involved 5E countries if the any of the above would be revealed in documentary and legally-actionable form.
Also, please try to use more civility in your replies to others. Please don't forget that we are all on the same team here. It's just as easy to type "I believe you are mistaken" as "why are you posting crackpot bullshit?"
IMO, it's impossible to offer an meaningful opinion, since all items are speculative.
I do find it implausible to believe, at the very least, that anyone in the U.S. in elected office and many in non elected positions are unaware of the fraud. I base this opinion on MI, for example, where the universal response to substantial amounts of precincts being out of balance is, "It's always like that" and insisting that certification board votes are "ministerial" then 5 minutes later using these votes as evidence of unquestionable legitimacy and rock solid validation.
Justification for swagger? I doubt it. Trump swaggers even when he knows he's dead wrong. It's part of his... charm? I don't read his swagger one way or another.
To your comment about civility. I agree entirely. If you read through my comments, I try to ask questions or offer what I am seeing that contradicts things first. This is generally met with name calling and similar juvenile responses, similar to what we all condemn about the left and are inherent in social media. To these things, I try to offer as reasoned a response as possible in most cases.
I will reiterate that I try. Sometimes I fail. Sometimes things are just so flat out ridiculous that I feel calling it what it is is a more appropriate response. Regardless of exceptions, I agree with you.
Even a written confession by a defendant without any corroboration is also speculative.
So, we would be talking about facts which have some level of corroboration.
Take for example the subject of the agency gaming foreign elections. Do you believe that there is no evidence of this?
But if this subject does not interest you, then you do not need to engage in it.
It does seem to me that all in all, Trump has never been Nixon. The Leftists insistence of trying to make Trump rhyme with Nixon have been incredibly myopic of Trump's personal sense of what is Good for the Republic.
If Trump has such evidence, which I believe that he does, then it makes complete sense why Trump has been positioning his own IC resources to make such a full disclosure if it becomes final that he won't stay in office.
How would such a full disclosure affect us geopolitically? There are far too many "ends" of loose strings here even to imagine. However, I don't think it would be "Good". That's for certain. We, myself included, are products of the times in which we were raised and the events that we lived through. For example, I understand why Nixon resigned. I still support the ideology behind his resignation. But I also am not so naive to know that those days are long behind us. Under today's rules, Nixon would never have resigned and he would have outlasted the ensuing impeachment efforts. After that, it would have been politically moot.
I think that you're bringing up a lot of interesting points. Short answer, I don't think we can know for certain. I don't mean that to be dismissive. As I said, these are interesting topics.
One area of particular interest to me is your approaching this from a perspective of global importance. I think that this idea hasn't gotten nearly enough attention. There's a vast amount that can be discussed from that perspective. I will touch on a fairly simple example: If things go as the media seems to want them to go: January 20th comes, Biden get's sworn in, Trump retires to FL and is never heard from again... this is impossible. The entire world is watching this election. Our country has, correctly, refused to acknowledge other nation and/ or heads of state for far less that has just been broadcast to the world. What is CNN's solution when some other nation refused to acknowledge the United States as legitimate and uses CNN's own reporting as the basis for doing so?
I have no idea what any of these answer are. My simple opinion is that, for all these reasons and countless more, unless this election is fully and transparently audited, validated, and lots and lots of people go to jail, there will be a cascade of horrifying, widespread, long term consequences. Even if that happens, I still do not see a happy ending for a very long time.
