I have been a guide for over a decade so have been lucky that my dogs get a lot of time in the field actually working ,so they end up good workers l am proud of . Although l have been offered big dollars by several clients for a couple of my dogs l could never sell them as we spend just to much time together on my Ranch & hunting so the bond is strong.
Here is her partner in crime Sako the Vizsla from another post, posing with the 35th Deer/Elk we had got Together-
Regarding the questions on the Vizsla ,the coat is fr after the hunt ,they feel the cold after working up a sweat in the high country where we hunt ,slogging it up & down mountain ridge lines .
We have a Cattle Ranch & the homestead sits on over 300 Acres so the dogs get plenty of exercise every day ,both of them travel with me all over every day while l am checking our cattle etc, they are both experts at finding the nearest puddle when l pull up in the Truck or SXS & only shake themselves off when l sit back next to them in the cab .Being a Cattle Ranch both are better fed than bred, (same for their owner),we do all our own home butchering, so they are always keen helpers when that is being done as well.
it sure would be ,OP what is with the coat on the other dog with the deer,is it to protect it ? I had never even heard of that breed before ,he is a good looking dog as well you must have a big yard.
Fuel has a sex?? She is pure black so was named after the fuel, pretty common for us Ranchers & Farmers who spend half our time elbow deep in it working on our machinery to call pure black dogs, cats , horses etc , etc Diesel & always has been .
Nooooo don't even go there with you know who's _______. Took a few days to continue after that. Something that you can play forever and still not experience everything.
I know who you're talking about. I would like to also note that I didn't think I would enjoy Arthur more than John but holy shit Arthur is probably the best video game character I've ever played as. Such a deep and morally challenged man.
I love calling in ducks & having a well set up & positioned blind also.
I do a bit of guiding & most of my favorite hunting memories involve hunting over a well trained dog . She is a great do on Pheasant & Quail as well & does a great job even finding downed Deer & Elk in thick brush.
Love hunting down in the Mississippi Delta & on the rice ,also love the great camp food traditions . I have always wanted to spend a year living on house boat down there & live as much off the land as you can .
My Brittany is doing the same hunched pose, looking out the front window at the doves in front of my house. She gets super excited when I ask her where the birds are.
buddy of mine who has a vaca beach house told me a story of a jack russel terrier a neighbor had, who had free range 24/7 to roam the beach and make friends with strangers every day. Would always make it home and had the ultimate doggo life for 10 years. They got a new JRT puppy last week
You would love my Gordons! My nephews kid nap my dogs and hunt pheasant with them. They bring them back filthy and covered in crap, but I get cleaned pheasants in return.
Diesel looks like a good boah.
Edit: It's been brought to my attention that I called Diesel, who has a male name, is apparently female.

Fuel has a sex because I say it does. Checkmate, DrUmPf TaRd.
Won't be long & there will be his & her fuel pumps.
Diesel works as a girl's name because it comes in Yellow and Pink varieties. No Blue, though.
Good ol Doggo.
"You're alright girl."
The man of culture i see. But anyways, have you seen my friend Lenny?
You'll never take me aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!
Lmao. What a masterpiece of a video game. Truly amazing. Only Red Dead 1 and 2 have made me cry.

Yep. Tommy Vercetti was my favorite until Arthur came along. He was much deeper and more thoughtful than he usually let on.
Diesel the duck dog sounds like a stand up dog.
Never met a bad dog in my life, only bad owners.

Diesel is a very good girl!
I grew up hunting over Red Setters ,so have a weak spot for setters they are such majestic animals when they are working in the field.
Good doggo π
Lol. Cute dog.
Looks like she already went for a few ducks. Good looking dog, thanks for sharing.
Diesel was a tough dude
I see you took Joe's advice and just bought a shotgun. That would be ironic now wouldn't it?
LOL
Good boy!
Good doge
This is heaven to a city born dude like me who is increasingly questioning what urbanization has cost us ... and to what degree that was on purpose
At this point Biden may start quacking like a duck.
Biden lifting his leg up .. LOL!
