Purveyors of the narrative hate Asians. WHY, you ask? Could it well be that their change in social position over the last century shows not just that "overcoming" racism is possible but that if you have a culture that focuses on hard work that you can actually excel, passed the position of the dominant group? And that that brings up uncomfortable questions as to why other groups have fared so poorly, especially in comparison?
