I kind of disagree. I think Term Limits basically grant more power to the bureaucracy by ensuring that the legislative expertise gets lost as elected officials are constantly circulated out. This forces elected officials to lean more on Bureaucrats (Deep State) and forces them to rely more on these "experts" to make the calls.
I think term limits for office are like oil changes for your car. They are necessary. If not, the whole thing will implode. Nasty old oil can’t keep the engine running
What do you think about my theory that this inherently gives more power to bureaucrats, since these brand new elected officials are not on the job long enough to gain the expertise to truly challenge them?
