34 inches!? My waist size is 29 inches. I'm seriously thinner than the average woman in America? Ridiculous.

On a side note, based on what I witnessed with my grandmother and now my uncle, being fat is almost a guarantee to a slow, agonizing, and humiliating death. What I saw happen to my grandmother is enough motivation to me to never overindulge on food.

Yep. Every extra pound of weight you carry puts an additional FOUR pounds of pressure on your spine. Imagine the damage this can cause long term, not to mention joints, but health, heart problems, metabolic disorders, etc. Being fat is a fucking death sentence.
