I have to say Trump's handling of GA situation is brilliant. Trump was under pressure by the republican establishment to endorse Perdue and Loeffler, even though they did nothing to win our votes by letting the election be stolen in GA.
How he handled it is very complex, but a tldr is that he said good thinks about Sydney Powell and Lin Wood who are calling for the GA boycott, while also encouraging his base to vote for Senators.
Trump overriding Wood and telling people to go vote, who otherwise may not have, means he is saving them. If Trump is the reason they get elected, they now OWE him.
But at the same time you hear them interrupt Purdue, and keep the chant going on long after he's done. Trump's reaction was a thing of beauty. One part acknowledging the obvious that even though Trump told his base to vote, it's clear that the base knows Perdue and Loeffler have done nothing to earn their vote, and if they want their votes, what they have to do is glaringly obvious: FIGHT FOR TRUMP.
But the Neocon/Rino GOP can't do anything about it, they can't pressure Trump anymore because Trump already told his base to go vote. The GOP's only option is to address the stolen election, they're backed into a corner.
Why wouldn't the GOP support Trump? You heard of congressional republicans outperforming Trump, but if you look at who outperformed, they're all Bush Era Neocons or highly connected to them. It's no secret that George Bush is angling to become more prominent in the GOP and his buddies and colleagues at the Lincoln Project want revenge on Trump for kicking them out of the GOP. It would not be too surprising that the Neocons made a deal with the Neolibs, the Neolibs get the presidency to a child molester with dementia so it'll be essentially up for grabs in 2024, and the Neolibs gain control of congress.
But the Neocons and Neolibs underestimated Trump. It's obvious his base is not going to vote for Perdue and Loeffler unless they do something about GA.
