I wanted to call my dad and tell him about the moment in the rally last night when the patriots shouted down Kelly and David with "fight for Trump". It was such a great moment and is the exact message we need to be sending to these Republican cowards. But I know his response will be, "it doesn't matter, they are going to get away with the steal and no one is going to do a damn thing". Every piece of good news I share gets the same response and it is exhausting. I don't want to be angry with him and I know he is only protecting himself from disappointment by not allowing himself to get his hopes up but its frustrating. I am the only positive one my family and its hard to keep the moral up. Anyone else found a better way to deal with and encourage doomer family members?

Turn off Fox News and force OAN on them... that’s what I did anyways...

Gambler's fallacy is that thing people do when they try to sound wise or cool by claiming conditions will continue to be corrupt, because conditions have been corrupt for a long time. It's an irrational way of thinking. However, because the circumstances have existed long enough to give them this false impression, they can come off sounding entirely rational for posing the entirely fallacious assertion.

I've been trying to "wake people up" since at least the early 1990's. My discovery is that, unless you're an extremely skilled manipulator, you're never going to 'red pill' someone who doesn't already have some desire for it, even if it's just an entirely unconscious part of their personality. Our 'normie' family and friends are growing fewer all the time, but we're still bombarded with a constant stream of control propaganda. Cult de-programmers of the 20th century used practices so extreme, they themselves were sometimes considered to be criminally abusive, but they still only achieved mixed results.

The point: you can't ethically fix them unless they want to be fixed. If they don't want to be fixed, don't force it. Let them discover their error when everything really does change. In a big way, normies are weaponized, by the propaganda, to mess up YOUR life for even trying to 'red pill' them.

Lol sounds like my husband. I told him from the beginning it was all planned, a trap set to catch the swamp in one swoop. He didn’t buy it, couldn’t see the bigger plan at work. After weeks of not being able to convince him otherwise I just gave up talking to him about it and told him I was done reporting any good news to him, it was just exhausting. Oddly enough after him seeing the stuff happening last couple days I think he’s finally starting to see the light. I guess my advice to you is just keep the good news to yourself and as this starts to blow open, which I think will happen this week, they too will start to see what’s really happening.

Don't give up on people because they aren't used to winning. In between Reagan and Trump there were many years where conservatives only lost. They may come around yet! Trump has been reminding people what a winner looks like.

Joecheated.com is a great way to visually understand what is happening, coupled with Trump’s clear statements that if he genuinely lost, he would graciously step down. He didn’t lose, and he’s about to show the world how you handle cheating at a National scale.

Keep chipping away. Show them evidence, a little each time, each day. They will come around.

I don’t blame them tbh. They’re so used to seeing disappointment from their reps, opponents, and corporate media.

I’ve doomed and gloomed and despaired before, it’s only natural; especially after years of being brow beaten and just not caring or being indifferent. But cynicism does not help right now, especially with the gravity of what’s going on. To me, the only appropriate emotions right now should be hope, anger and determination. Speak your piece and make your points. Make your voice heard. If no one listens or shoots you down with doom, move on. You don’t have to keep setting yourself up for what you know will bring you down. But maybe, just maybe, things might be different.

Most have given up due to years of things never changing. I ask them about what was like for them back in the day and make it relatable. Then start talking about things that have been done under this admin. They simply just do not know because nothing good ever is on the "news". 2018 executive order, EO SEC rules for Chynna investing, Cleaning house at D0D, Trade Agreement changes or backing out of funding WH0 to name a few. Show them the positive and explain how this has greater impact. It's been working for me at least..... my 2 cents.

Well, if they are Christians you might tell them that God puts leaders of nations into power, and that this whole period is actually an example of God's mercy. Giving us the opportunity to catch the fraud and correct this election. Everyone must hold the line. Have faith.

Those who faint in time of trouble, how weak are they? That's a Proverb.

Boomers are doomers. Fat and fucking lazy for the most part.
