Ok you jest but a nurse told me that it’s because the Flu comes from travel and people aren’t traveling like they normally do and Covid is 20x as infections as the flu. Therefore it makes sense that Covid restrictions have stopped the flu from spreading (to LITERALLY 0) but have lead to hospitals being overwhelmed.

Sorry pede but a LOT of nurses are absolutely full of shit. Wife is a Covid ICU nurse and you should hear some of the nonsense perpetuated by her peers. So take what you were told with plenty of salt. And maybe some HCQ + zinc sulfate as a prophylaxis 🇺🇸😬

Yeah I know. That was the point of the reply, that just because they’re a nurse doesn’t necessarily mean they understand the larger context of worldwide pandemic and all its affects.

Tell your wife thank you and to stay safe!!

yeahhh.....so about trusting 'the scientists and/or doctors/nurses' hmmm. Have a lot of nurse friends, no one saw a jump, previous flu years way worse

That’s BS. The flu has been around since the beginning of time back when we only had horses and our feet.

Yeah corona viruses aren’t new, this one is just novel. And probably created in a lab.

Mmmmmm in a sense sure. They know more procedural measures than diagnostic measure. But don’t go disparaging the nurses! There’s a lot of good ones out there that know a lot!

Travel spreads different STRAINS of the flu. Stopping travel does not stop the flu. In fact, it probably makes it more difficult for them to prep the different regions with the different versions of flu vaccine. Because travel is not completely stopped, but usual travel patterns are severely altered. Do the usual math is right out there fucking window. And that doesn't even account for all the Dominion math being used in the reporting statistics for the CDC this year either.

So is dominion math worse than common core math?

No. Flynn team gonna figure it out and have results to us by Tuesday. Nobody has figured out common core yet.
