For all of the demoralization and discouragement we are facing now, the Founding Fathers had to reckon with the fact that they were facing the best army then in the world and nearly impossible odds for the simple goal of securing our freedom from tyranny. They faced persecutions worse than Facebook/Twitter bans and had all manner of crazy setbacks. They faced defeat after defeat and even had to contend with traitors like Benedict Arnold. Nevertheless, they continued to fight.
Today, we are faced with the task of securing our Republic. We are better positioned than they were as we may not have to fire a shot to do it. All of the propaganda, demoralization and traitorous actions that we are seeing will not change the fact that the TRUTH is on our side. We must prevail and we will.
I remember on another site, someone wrote a post asking how British teach about the American revolution in their schools, their role in the launch of the greatest country in the history of the world.
All the Brits were replying "it's not really mentioned, it's a footnote. There's so much more important history..."
Which I found incredible reading those comments. To this day, many in the world, and sadly many in our country, don't respect what our founding fathers fought through.
Yeah now imagine youre sleepng In a snow drift, eating your boot soles instead of comfy on your couch
