We're Jewish. We dumped our old Temple membership because we got sick of the liberal shit. We're doing our own Bible study with the kids once a week, now. Might have to join an Orthodox temple since they love Trump too. I'm tired of supporting any product/religion/school board that imposes Liberal shit.

Congrats to you my friend for finding your home, I'm a little jealous.

I think a bible study with your family is a fantastic alternative. Maybe you can soon find a family to join you. The first church’s started in homes.

It's really hard to find a good "based" church.

Even at our church (way out in the country in South Carolina) we hear from the pastor it's about half and half..half the congregation keep asking leadership to enforce MORE mask rules and shit.

They're so fucking dumb. Sure, let's only let people sit in every FOURTH row, that'll help grow the congregation... 😠😂

I need a church that is full of pedes. TDW is the only "public" place where I feel comfortable.

Besides my home and some relatives, I never know what kind of loony lefties I might be around. 🤔🙄

People who participate in Bible studies was one of the suspect groups for potential domestic terrorists during the Janet Reno era.

She also said Trump would not be the President in her lifetime. She died on the eve of his election.

I grew up listening to an old W TX Preacher who said that...And he said, The church is likely to end up in homes, too... just like in China. they're actually called "house churches".

Does anyone have a link to the survival rates? The 99.87% or whatever one?

Sure, a family home bible study; were you can 'study' murder, genocide, ethnic cleansing, robbery, revenge plots, rape, sodomy, hebrew fairy tales and a whole lot more that would go into a good horror movie. No thanks, leave me out of it!

You actually forgot incest. (Lot's daughters both got him drunk so they could know the ways of the world with him) And yes, it's kinda gangster sometimes, but so is history... Actually, come to think of it, some of these are by far the most compelling parts.

Of course there's bad stuff in there, there is supposed to be! The Bible is the story of man's evil and God's redemption. Do you only want it to contain a harsh word or two on the evil side of the ledger? What is this garbage?

The point is that it also contains the full saving power of God through Jesus Christ, and that is greater by far. But you can't appreciate a saviour without being aware of what he saved people from.

It’s called history. Its not a utopian novel.

Weird statement to make for a 13 day old account.

President Trump is a zionist and speaks about his support for Israel often.

Try the little church on the side of the road in the small town that was started by Mum and Dad, on their own, 20 years ago.

I know you said you're Jewish but as a student of the Torah, you'll understand that knowledge of the truth is like a diamond - multi faceted and deep.

This is exactly the church I found. Congregation might be 20 people in all. Preacher sits at the front of room and reads from the Bible, breaks it down verse by verse. No woke theology, no constant background keyboard, no Disneyland-esque spiritual experience ride. Just people, the word of God and the Holy Spirit.

DogFacedPepeSoldier 27 points ago +28 / -1

This is how it is supposed to be done. Good find, pede.

Was also looking for a new church. Found one in NFM, Fl. Victory Baptist Church. Dont worry I checked with the pastor would love to have new pedes. Come on in if you believe in God and support our President.

But Jesus was the Jewish Messiah, and the fulfillment of the Law. Paul said Jews still need to obey all the 613 mitzvot, unless they decide to be saved by the Spirit.

I'm Jewish and I find more in common with seriously religious Christians than secular Jews.

5
Hardcouer 5 points ago +5 / -0

As well you should, fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. My position is symmetric to yours;

A Jew who believes in God is closer to the truth than some liberal Christian who believes in nothing at all.

God bless.

This is the way mostly. The remnant. I wouldn’t say to go check out the trailer home “little flock Baptist missionary church” with 3 cars in the driveway. Fine a reformed church that is credal and vibrant even though it is smaller in membership, large churches are infiltrated and just social clubs now. Even if you are Catholics, you can seek out traditional Latin mass parishes. Good churches are everywhere, they are small and underfunded. Membership won’t get your respect from the mayor or local politicians. Seeking out the Lord Jesus is All that matters.

It adopted nothing from mystery religions, and the Gnostics only showed up later (that's why all their manuscripts are a century newer than the real gospels).
