They work by capturing emissions from your mouth. Like how surgeons wear during surgery, or do you think they’re wearing them for their own benefit (they aren’t)

Spoiler alert: The microscopic holes in certain materials are LARGER than the microscopic viruses and bacteria that they would be used to filter out (now apply this same logic to a mask).
