Why did Chinese video show supposed COVID sufferers collapsing in the street when this has (if I recall) not been shown from elsewhere?
Is it a different disease? Different strain of the same thing? Did we all just dodge a bullet because the nastiest strain got beaten out by a merely troublesome one as time went on?
You don't have to subscribe to any particular pet theory of how this all went down or why -- it's damned damned queer how the dramatic footage of people collapsing in the streets and whole neighborhoods being welded into prisons (and potentially death camps of isolation) -- only came from China, and only early on.
Here's my most reasonable first stab -- everything is exactly as it was reported in the beginning, but that the strain which dropped people in their tracks never made it out of China. Which would be OBVIOUS to the powers that be, but they found it useful to maintain the fiction that Ebola-like Wuhan Red Death was coming to get us all.
That's my least "involved" theory to explain what seems to be a discrepancy -- the way that t o my knowledge, not one American has simply collapsed hat-on-shoes the way Chinese were.
And if there are videos of similar collapses from Korea, Northern Italy or Iran, this would tend to strengthen the case I've laid out above, as I think that those were the most connected points in the early days.

Couldnt the collapsed people simply be actors to push it? I mean, its quite clear that china profited off of covid the most economicaly
Could be. That's another layer of intent to deceive, which is certainly possible. I'm looking at the minimum amount of deception that could possibly account for the facts as we've seen.
I'm not saying that the whole thing isn't a Chinese plot. Could be. Just trying to find the minimum set of (likely) facts. Not like we'll ever get ground truth from anybody.
Considering the Chynese disregard for life plus their spraying Wuhan with streaming clouds of disinfectant I suspect they had people drop like flies from that horrible treatment.
It could be that the whole thing is Chinese theater, to include zillions of cell phones going dark, incinerators running day and night, and a surge in price for burial services (implying a surge in demand). That could all have been theater designed to stampede the west into panic.
I;m not ruling anything out that isn't on its face crazy.
Pretty strange how these were caught on video if they were healthy people wh suddenly dropped, how did anyone know to video them before the fact?
