NYT should've been the first clue that this was garbage. The second clue would've been gleaned by reading the first paragraph of the NYT article:

"Attorney General William P. Barr is considering stepping down before President Trump’s term ends next month, according to three people familiar with this thinking." 🙄

Wow, that was some sentence. Thanks for having the stomach to be able to read the NYT. I can't.

I've built up an immunity to their bullshit...plus, they usually reveal their "news" is hyperbole or opinion within the first paragraph or two. 😉

"familiar with his thinking" I can never ever for the life of me fathom how they think this sounds fucking professional or even come across as reputable. Fucking scum commie journos.

Right?!?!?

If the NYT is trying to create doubt with Barr, it actually makes me think Barr is on our side.

NickG 29 points ago +31 / -2

Nope. I see this as a win! Not that Barr is stepping down but this is the second hit piece against him this past week. I think they are getting scared. He hasn’t said shit and they aren’t liking that. With the AP and now the NYT I think Barr is more of a stealth bomber than we are giving him credit for.

I feel like I gave Bill Barr the money and I'm waiting for him to come back with the weed. And then the sun went down. And I'm in denial so I'm still out here waiting. And now the sun's coming up.

NickG 1 point ago +3 / -2

No you’re not dooming you are just getting a little worn thin seeing all this bullshit going down. I will say that I haven’t seen anything from Barr but I think that the longer he’s quieter the more that the disparaging articles come will come out. The DOJ sending their huge plane to Dominion systems in Toronto. You have every right to be pissed that Barr hasn’t done anything yet. But hold the line and trust Trump has a plan.

2
Harper42190 2 points ago +2 / -0

I did notice that, I remember a video showing that all the lights were on for like 3 days straight through the night. I just don't know what the DoJ can even do in Toronto? The fact that Dominion won't speak to media, ballots counted in private, people forced out, and they won't audit machines or signatures.. I mean the fact that biden is spending 10x more money than trump on lawyers to prevent any review is blowing my fuckin mind.

1
NickG 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well that’s just the commies doing commie things about Biden and his team not wanting an open and fair election. They really aren’t doing anything that surprises me. As for the DOJ in Toronto I think they basically told the Canadians to piss off. What really gets to me is that there is a good 40% of America that doesn’t understand this.

2
Harper42190 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'd wager 70% of america are clueless to everything going on ... it's pathetic. Just like 12% of biden voters said they wouldn't have voted for him if they knew about his china connection....after election day...

2
NickG 2 points ago +2 / -0

Well it only took 3% of Americans to rid the country of tyranny not half as bad as what the cheating treasonous people are going to try to implement if they get rid of Trump.

Haven't we learned yet to ignore MSM?

1
de9ebkmd7 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah but I was really hoping he would! Barr is worthless and needs to go!

1
rjdf 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's lazy thinking. Just because we don't know what he is up to, doesn't mean he isn't doing anything. That's not me "defending Barr", that's being rational. I have no preferences here, I don't care about favoritisms, but people need to stop treating everything like a popularity contest.

1
de9ebkmd7 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah I take your point but I can't point to any substantive precedent to think Barr is doing anything. There has been no action on anything from Barr. Nothing on Hilary's emails, nothing on unmasking private citizens, nothing on spying on the Trump campaign, nothing on spying on the Trump administration, nothing on the FBI falsifying evidence against Flynn, and I probably missed a few things.

1
rjdf 1 point ago +1 / -0

No action (that we know of).

My take is: why would the media need to keep pumping out fake headlines about Barr and Durham if there was nothing? As recent as this morning. "NYT Barr is stepping down!" .... 2 hours later, "DOJ tells CBS Barr intends to stay in as long as Trump needs him.

This is not how you treat a benign opponent.

Stepping down in the middle of this mess is an admission of his guilt and inaction.

He should be tossed out on his ineffective ass by Trump personally.

This means Trump fired him and is giving him a short window to save face. More than he deserves, imo.

Didn't he meet with Trump a few days ago. Hope Trump said shit or get off the pot. Hope Powell or Giuliani are incomming!

according to three people familiar with his thinking

So, I know it's called fake news for a reason; but I have to say I'm actually surprised at how much they ramped it up since November 3rd. If I had been told in October that it would get this crazy, I don't think I'd believe it.

Meh, whatever, he is worthless. The sooner her resigns or gets fired the better.

It's not so much stepping down as having the floor drop out from under him.
