the good old 30-30 WCF, introduced by Winchester in 1895 for their lever-action rifle, is the first smokeless powder cartridge introduced in the commercial civilian market
performance-wise, it's fairly comparable to the Cold War era Russian 7.62x39 cartridge
Lots of Americans have a 30-30 lever action
Henry Rifle company, famous for their quality lever actions (every American needs to a least own a Henry in 22LR) introduced the Big Boy X Model to address a market for tactical lever actions:
In the year 2020, going into 2021, the name of the game is ammunition diversity and rifles like these help to address that diversification need.
Need to be able to shoot (and be effective) with the ammo that one can manage to acquire. So there are 9mm carbines that can compliment 9mm pistols. The carbines can be a more effective urban defense tool than just the pistol alone. Same thinking applies to .357 mag vis a vis a Henry Big Box X Model lever-action tactical carbine in .357 mag.
Capitalism lol. I hear u tho. Ppl wanna be ready if these clowns decide they wanna get into it. I know im ready if one of em wants to try that funny ambush shit wit me. I wish one of em would try that shit wit me. Ooohhhhhh man let me tell u it’ll get real ugly real fast lol

Big Boy X Model .45 Colt, .357/.38 Spl, .44 Mag/.44 Spl
These are essentially pistol caliber carbines.

This was exactly my thought process. Same ammo, different boom sticks (rifle/revolver)
Plus it's America's first assault rifle.
A 357 marlin is really a great choice fpr those in shitty anti2nd places like NY
Bro, you saying you found ammo? What the fuck? How many limbs did you have to sell afford anything?
