They want a government that isn't working to be seen as tied to American values. Trump has proved more then almost everyone that they are half right, that the ruling class is broken, but at the expense of and in the face of American values.
They are beside themselves that over half the country agrees that things need to change, but this time they want to change in the direction toward America.
I had a "debate' with a leftist recently. Their position amounted to: "I know what's best for everyone else and doing things against their will as long as it's in their interest, of which I determine, not them, is beneficial for them and society as a whole. Freedom doesn't mean you have the right to do something I deem not suitable."
I suggested to at least 3 left leaning friends through the years that a free society would/ does allow for people to create their own commune if they wanted and that they should just do that if they wanted to opt in themselves. Each conversation went exactly the same way - "it wouldn't work unless it was national" (admitting you need others to fund it) I would say "then people should vote for it", and they always return "no one would vote for it."
They know people need to be forced, and that doesn't bother them. Trump and Bernie people almost see the same thing. We both see a broken ruling class that seeks control over others. Trump supporters/constitutionalists/Americans see that system and want it restored to actually being of/for/by the people. Bernie supporters/radical left see that system and just want to be in charge of it.
I dont know what that means so i dont know what side youre on. Just incase, Taiwan Number 1! USA Number 1!
I will say this, your name is very correct, true, and important. Stick around and try to learn something while you're here.
I'm not surprised that the China virus isn't very durable, considering where it was made.
