The ideal situation is that Trump wins rightfully and legally. If Trump does not win rightfully and legally then he should not leave the White House. He is dutifully responsible to declare Marshall Law and begin arresting those who are manipulating our election and/or working with foreign agents. Quote frankly, I think that after DJT is legally elected that he will declare Marshall Law to defend our country.

Getting a similar perspective from Barnes' podcast. It's still uphill, but we're gaining momentum.

Why would a Democratic congress elect Trump?

52
T-Rex32 52 points ago +52 / -0

Each state gets one vote. Republican are in control of 30 state legislatures. They have to vote along party lines per the US Constitution.

T-Rex32 28 points ago +28 / -0

In other words, Trump already won

so in this case, congress wont certify the fraudulent election for biden on dec14th? Will the scotus delay the certification on dec 8th and dec 14th?

11
generated_name 11 points ago +11 / -0

I believe, but may be wrong, that congress doesn't certify on the 14th. That's just when electors are sent.

Honestly though, there are so many certifications of other certifications that I get mixed up. So I could be wrong.

14th is when electors cast their votes in their respective states, January 6th congress reads the votes, but can object to any votes/vote to throw them out/other shit I believe

4
orxor 4 points ago +4 / -0

And what of they don't object, or have a debate for show and then decide to certify anyway?

5
finnabeouf 5 points ago +5 / -0

Not sure, several congressmen have already stated they will be objecting though

5
orxor 5 points ago +5 / -0

Is that enough? Like a few congressmen? I read then they have a 2 hour debate (probably just to show their constituents they tried) and then probably do nothing.

ok thanks, i am really hoping biden gets under 270 on the 15th. then it will look a lot better.

however, in the event where we get Trump/Harris Administration, does that mean republican party still wins the election?

Pedes are confusing state legislature control (ultimate ones in charge of selecting electors) with this specific scenario which involves one vote for each of the fifty delegations of US House members. (If this becomes relevant we will all learn more about this)

January 6th is a VERY important date for me

Svdden_Maga 7 points ago +7 / -0

Did Levin really say that? Why January 6th? Thats 14 days away from inauguration.

6
Anon1970 6 points ago +6 / -0

Jan 6th is when the 117th Congress counts the electoral votes and declares an official winner.

Cautiously optimistic.

Trump has already hinted he isn't going to do that. Go back and listen to his last rally in GA.

Congress votes once per state in this scenario. It would be 26-24 in Trumps favor.

What triggers one vote per state rather than using electors?

3
SheikFromMozambake 3 points ago +3 / -0

You may not be stupid but you're confused on this point. There are very special rules that would apply to such a selection and those rules guarantee that the vote would go to Trump. TRex-32 described it accurately above.

This means the Courts will not act.
