Ah righto. It's hard to know sometimes, I've never heard it said but any non-Australians.
There are sayings that I'm sure are just Australianisms but others know, and then others that I think are common place which then completely throw other cultures off.

In Australia we have a saying directed to people who lie to excuse their actions.
"Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining."
Seems unbelievably appropriate here.
