There is a solution already in the Constitution. Because of the contingent election procedure, the Supreme Court doesn't have to pull some way to fix the clusterfuck that is Pennsylvania out of their collective asses. But their finding that the PA electoral delegation is officially disputable due to the outrageously irregular election gives support to Senators to agree to find the PA electors unacceptable.

The contingent election in Congress is the plan all along.
