Florida Man was mercilessly criticized for years, smeared and slandered with countless lies and undue mischaracterizations. He was made a mockery, denigrated, and brought lower than a 'gator's belly.

But when humanity was brought to the brink and cried out for a savior, Florida Man answered. He could have spurned us, left us to rot in the pit of our own making. But instead, he offered us a hand where no one else would.

Florida Man was...a hero, I just didn't see it.
