There's no need. If people willfully bury their heads that's their business. Nobodies forcing them to tune in to cnn. If the courts rule some bullshit, then the President calls a press briefing and addresses the nation that way. He could easily frame this as going against his conscience and cannot step down when so many have reasonable doubts about the election. No concession without audits. There's absolutely no reason for this to be refused. I think this whole thing is silly, actually. The idea that we play around with democrats whose strategy is to play dumb is bizarre to me. Audits should have been automatically triggered, in fact, but at the beginning of this, I think the President should have declared a National Emergency for full audits. This could have been in the domain War Powers. Now, we're waiting for the courts and the obvious strategy here is to let the clock run out. This constrains the situation, but it can still be done.
