Leftist ideology couldn't exist without hypocrisy

And heavy, overt censorship

Ted Cruz is 100% based. The stuff Trump said about his wife was probably my least favorite thing I’ve seen DT do, and the fact that he publicly admitted it was a mistake is the closest I can ever recall DT coming to apologize.

Ted Cruz had every reason and opportunity to go anti-Trump following 2016. He did anything but, because Ted Cruz has principles that put America above his own ego.

We need 50 more Ted cruzes ASAP

I'm betting that He and Cruz had some private meetings to resolve this - it's the only way that truly results in what we are seeing.

"It was war, Ted."

"And you fought well, Don."

"Now let's go get these mother fuckers."

I love Ted and was 100% behind him before Trump. You do realize Cruz's pact went after Melania before hand right, essentially calling her a whore because of her modeling career. Cruz never publicly spoke against that. The stuff about his wife was public knowledge well before then. Cruz was always a great fighter, but Trump showed him how the swamp works.

I could see him being able to charm the media like Reagan did if he won the presidential nomination in 2024.

I only wish. But the psychotic media will predictably despise Ted Cruz with the burning heat of a thousand Rosie O’Donnell farts

We saw that in 2015. They went completely crazy when they thought he was going to be the nominee.

Ted Cruz was my senator for seven years and he used to be everything that I hated about politicians. He was slick and slimy. He was worse than the press with the twisting of words and non-answers to questions. Every time he spoke he had a strong used car salesman vibe that I couldn't stand. That's why I strongly pushed back on him in the primary. He put on this 'moral right good Christian' fake cloak that I never could stand.

But I think that losing was good for him. He realized that he had to loosen up. He developed a sense of humor and dropped the slimy politician persona. Getting trolled unmercifully will do that to a person. You either let it destroy you or you join in the fun.

He made the right choice. I've only seen him do the slimy twisting of words one time since '16 election. For a moment, I was reminded why I used to hate this guy, but he actually stopped himself. You could see him shaking off the "So what you're saying is" bullshit, paused, then said, "Wait. Let's try that again," then just spoke honestly. He figured out that people can smell bullshit and he stopped trying to con people.

Yeah, he's still learning. Still growing and I can sincerely appreciate that about anyone. Lord knows, I've made my share of mistakes and some of those were quite recent.

I definitely like the real Ted Cruz. I can finally see myself getting behind him. The real man is a good man. He just had to turn off the act.

I think it definitely helped that Trump extended the hand of peace after he won. Really wanted to work with Congress. Ted stepped up and began working for the people.

Interesting take. Appreciated.

And nobody will deny, the beard was a surprisingly significant upgrade.

If the left didn't have double standards they would have no standards at all.

Ted has always had a great sense of humor, just look at his 2016 Office Space parody campaign ad: https://youtu.be/450fGDELlZI.

cuntard 4 points ago +4 / -0

that is amazing

TheMadManDidItAgain 3 points ago +3 / -0

So many Democrats don't realize they are in the Lion party until they start thinking for themselves. We really dont' have much different that Democrats, we all want the same thing, we jsut want to attack the issues from a different direction.

Leftists, on the other hand, they are pure evil.

Liberals... eh, they are almost leftists, but grasping on just a little bit of their own principles. Liberals are to Leftists as Agnostics are to Atheists, they just lack the conviction.

Still an enemy, his "nice words" don't matter. If he were even remotely sane, he'd never be a dem.

TakenusernameA 1 point ago +1 / -0

I mean a lot of democrats voted for Trump this election. I guarantee it.

1
RolandDelacroix 1 point ago +1 / -0

Too bad a huge bulk of the electorate consider Cruz ineligible for the presidency due to being born in Canada, and they will never vote for him.

Sad, but true.

1
The_banned 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yea, democrats voted red in droves this year. Even they are unimpressed with the leftist, marxist insanity.

They’re starting to wake-up slightly! Maybe laughter really is the best medicine and that’s why the left kill comedy?

One of two things Ted Cruz does wags his finger in congressional hearing and spouts of on Twitter, dudes a joke.

1
pepperconchobhar 1 point ago +1 / -0

He got behind POTUS after the '16 election. Faster than most any of the other R's. He put his own ego behind him and really has worked for the American people. We never would've gotten the tax cuts or the withdrawal of the insurance mandate without him.
