They need 108 (3/5's) but there are only 105 republicans. Jones the Dem would add 1 more. still short by 2 if every republican wants to convene.

the R's have majorities in both chambers. But not enough to reach 3/5's in the house.

Also, why didn't they vote on this before the session closed? Makes me think they really didn't want to do it

that 3/5's rule is the requirement for a special session, without needing Kemp to call for one. I still think the legislature has a say on whether to accept the democrat electors seated by Kemp. Looking for that now.

According to the Constitution it's the legislature that nominates the electors.

Have they "delegated" the responsibility to the Secretary of State?

Or does the legislature still need to vote on it? Or they don't need to vote but they can oppose it?

The democrat electors are already seated. Kemp states that there is no mechanism not to seat them after the popular vote was certified according to Georgia Constitution. I am still trying to find where it says this in the Georgia constitution
