Fascism is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe.
Other than the definitions always include the term "far right" the description sounds just like our left.
I can’t say what defines far left or far right. But political ideologies don’t lie on a straight line. It’s more like a horseshoe. The closer you get to either end the more like they become.
Left is the increase power of the public sphere Right is maintaining the power in the private sphere The private sphere always exist (even in the USSR they never successfully destroyed all of the private market) The public sphere historically always collapse as it becomes more and more burdeness and inefficient (i guess that your horseshoe as it archs and returns back to the private domain)
