Huh. I didn't get logged out.
This definitely did happen once though. My original account here, which I made mirroring my Reddit account, got logged out and I had no ability to recover my password because I didn't have any info attached 🤪
So surprised it didn't happen this time when it was apparently supposed to
I getlogged out often. I just got so used to figuring out that I was always going to be signed out at some point I started remembering my name and password religiously.
Usually every morning I have to sign in.
If you’re using a private tab on mobile, you may get logged out because memory pressure causes the browser to suspend if you’re, say, gaming or doing other intense tasks while the browser is in the background 👌

Don't remember passwords, keep them secure with a password manager like Bitwarden or Lastpass (or any other number of them). Then you only need to remember one bit of account info, and the rest can be secure.
2ndeded. I highly recommend Lastpass. As weird as it sounds, I don't know any of my passwords and have never had an issue logging into any of my accounts.
