I want to start refreshing my knowledge of history starting with American history. I want to avoid revisionist history, so please recommend books that cover any period, event, ideology, etc. that happened or came to the forefront during American history. Even books that take place before our founding as well. The Bible says that we perish because of our lack of knowledge. Daniel in the Bible was wise in scripture as well as the systems of Babylon, so I want to increase my knowledge of history so that I can be effective against this darkness that is trying to erase our history.
