I'm not giving them any excuses at this point. How many governors, mayors, and politicians have been busted ignoring their own rules and words so far? I've lost count. How many governors and mayors cracked down on the consecutive months of protests and riots that were ignoring social distancing and masks? How many of them made public statements about "slowing the spread" and urged people not to protest or riot? I can't think of a single one. Oh, but they'll for sure go after small businesses and private gatherings! It's painfully obvious the powers that be aren't taking this shit seriously and there's zero consistency when it comes to the rules.

This is not demoralization. This is willful ignorance or just being a slave to authority.
