And a lot of us end up in between "do I respect private property/business and comply with their rules" or "do I not comply and force them to become a middle-man to my non-compliance"
I'd love to not have to use a grocery store, but I'm not in that position currently. And the closest one (that I know of) without a mask policy (either corporate or county-level) is 2 hours away. Working more on moving further away, but still not that close to full homesteading lol.
It really sucks they designed the rules such that I can't not comply without fucking somebody else over potentially (local grocer, subject to county rules)
I haven't thought of an effective way around it, short of yelling outside the county office, which I don't think would be all that effective
I wear a mask to get through the front door, then drop it down so I can breathe. I cut my own hair so I dont get my hair salon in trouble by not wearing a mask. I order in my nonperishables, and stock up at the store so I dont have to deal this this crap as little as possible. This is a helluva way for a free American to live.
Check what the actual rules are. Around here, it is mandated that workers wear them, and that they ask for masks. But they are not in contravention of any rules to allow someone to shop without a mask. Due to disability rights, they canjot ask about health conditions.
