If on a PC, be sure to try your browser "settings", "passwords" to see saved passwords (not good secops but if lazy like me, maybe you did let your computer save it).

Rational-redneck 21 points ago +21 / -0

You can also check for saved passwords if your main browser on your phone is chrome. It's what just saved my ass 5 minutes ago trying to log in.

They are pretty bad in that if you know your computer login, they can then access every password you’ve saved. It’s like putting a master key on all your passwords

4
4more 4 points ago +4 / -0

Who really cares about someone having access to your password for sites like this and other social media? They gonna log in and shit post for me? I have a separate computer that is only for my financial stuff.

4
DONS_YUGE_DONG 4 points ago +4 / -0

i forgot that password too

3
pharoahphoenix 3 points ago +3 / -0

Software like keepass is good, you have one password for everything but even if someone steals your computer it's unlikely they'd be able to crack the password file.

3
OneBigMaga 3 points ago +3 / -0

I use keypass. It is encrypted, I decide where it is stored online, and I have the master backed up locally. I can edit it at any time and it will update everywhere almost instantly. It's a bit more of a pain to use and set up than a browser password manager, but its much more secure. Most browsers keep a plain text list of passwords that anyone on your computer could access.

Not mention the cloud-based PW Apps are very likely visible by higher-level employees I'm relatively sure ....

2

New tab, gear icon in lower right corner, 'Additional settings' drop-down on left, 'Autofill'.

Oh wait. You said app...

New tab, menu button in lower right corner, 'Settings', under 'Basics'.

I get emails from some indian IP trying to log in to my email and I'm just like decline and change password. But yes firefox and chrome both have a save phone feature and it even lets you copy it so you dont even have to type it.

3
PepesCovfefe 3 points ago +3 / -0

You also may have saved it in iPhone keychain.

3
monkadelic 3 points ago +3 / -0

Password saving programs for the ultra-lazy. But they work great.

Dang. I did not think of those who didn't use e-mail. I'm old school and thought it was a standard.

2

no it's the other way around, if you use your emails on the internet you are definitely not old school hehe

1

Mine was saved in my phone. It didn’t automatically pop up, so I had to search thru the saved passwords.....

19
Bilbobaggins 19 points ago +19 / -0

Same I just had to go to passwords and then re-save it for this site.

3
forcedaspiration 3 points ago +3 / -0

This.. The new auth server is different. You prolly still have your passwords, just look through your password manager in your browser and copy it. Then log in and paste it in.

3

just make sure your master password is very long. example: Iliketoeat15cucumbersaday!

2
Sassycoder 2 points ago +2 / -0

mine is as long and more cryptic!

2
patslimmy1 2 points ago +2 / -0

I use password safe - encrypted with a strong password to get into it. And I have Veeam backing up every night just in case.

6
UK_Pede 6 points ago +6 / -0

I panicked for a minute because I knew I’d used an iPhone one, so it’s like 800 letters and numbers. Turns out that it was still in my passwords list. I’m guessing the address for verification has changed so it doesn’t auto fill anymore.

Tips to make your browsing better and also be a better Patriot!!!... from a retired military IT and IT Director of 5 companies.

  1. Do NOT use Chrome or Edge or Internet Explorer. Use Brave or Firefox
  2. Use 'LastPass' to save your passwords https://www.lastpass.com/
  3. Use Ublock Origin addon extension for your browsers
  4. Use SpyBot

You guys call yourselves Pedes and Patriots yet you continue to use Google and Microsoft Products? What's even worse is that many aren't even smart enough to remember their passwords.

What about on Brave app? Couldn’t find. RIP.

4
StaryHickory 4 points ago +4 / -0

In Brave its settings --> Additional Settings --> Autofill --> Passwords

Then check the list for thedonald.win and unhide the password with the "eye" symbol.

We should make a list with suggestions for changes. Like commenting with pictures, requesting passwords, More tabs (HOT/NEW/RISING/EVIDENCE/MEMES/TOP)proper searchfunction, etc.

1
Ella101 1 point ago +1 / -0

Search is important. I have to save everything.

2

They aren't completely fake points on here, we can look at post history to identify the cucks that are here to cause problems so that we can deport them.

Woke up a bit confused about being logged out though.

3

Keepass is your friend.

3

1
redd_i_ter 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bitwarden is a much better alternative. Less corporate fingers in that pie

3
Anon1970 3 points ago +3 / -0

I woke up and found I was logged in to my backup account automatically instead of this one (my computer was in sleep mode). ??
Tried to log in with this account and the password would not work. I wrote it down and have logged in and out before with it on this account. Had to reset. I did use the same password for both accounts (lazy, I know...) and the old password still works for my backup account. Weird or not weird?

This is why I use Brave. That way I can just look it up and copypasta the password over. Did it on my phone before I rolled out of bed this morning.

1
SpeakerdocTake2 1 point ago +1 / -0

Same here - having trouble w Brave + VPN always have to log back in each time I leave TDW. Even disabling the auto block hasn’t saved my login info. It’s a pain but meh—no way this isn’t my first bookmark of the day. First acct wouldn’t let me back in but so far this second acct is working. 🙏

3

PSA: If you try to log in and are greeted by some "error 403" bullshit, delete your cookies and try again.

At least that's what I needed to do in the Edge browser on my PC.

3
LiskaEman 3 points ago +3 / -0

You can reset/retrieve your password guys... I had to do that this morning. Or if you go through a manager does it not let you ?

4
WinstonSmith1984 4 points ago +4 / -0

Probably have to remember an email address that is not often used as well?

3
LiskaEman 3 points ago +3 / -0

Ah that's a good point ! I used one that I don't use often, but still have easy access to.

2
WinstonSmith1984 2 points ago +2 / -0

excellent:)

2
SyNiKaLiTy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yea, what happened with that? I never logged out but it still booted me, and my browser magically "forgot" my info even though I know I saved it.

2
TexasFox 2 points ago +2 / -0

Make nemonic rule set that builds your passwords on a site by site basis. The more rules you have the more secure your password and each password is unique to that site or use case. Then all you have to do is remember your rules and not a 100 passwords. No need to ever write them down, store them, or let anything remember the.

2
AtrisFlex 2 points ago +2 / -0

Almost had to create a new account myself.

2
Count_Dyscalculia 2 points ago +2 / -0
