There's nothing to dispute here. This is not a crime.

Do you understand how the PPP works? The company takes out a loan based on how many employees it has and their salaries. Then the company applies to have the loan erased (paid off by the government).

I agree it's unethical for these people to be taking PPP, but it's not against the law. It certainly encourages dishonesty and fraud (giving yourself a 100% raise, for example), but it's not against the law.

Yes I know. And thank you. That being said, that shit in particular should be against the law. I was just making a blanket statement against her and others like her in general. I reacted viscerally to the general dishonesty, and cheating and subversion of our ‘government officials’. But she HAS committed crimes. And she’s still sitting in Congress. So I stand by my statement.
