I'm more of a lurker than poster here. But this has hit me hard. I had to say goodbye to my best friend on Saturday afternoon. When my dad passed away a few years ago, Lincoln came to live with my family. He had just lost his best friend- he decided that I'd be his new bestie. He never allowed me to be out of his sight. He always curled up next to me and was always there when I needed him. He loved me and my family unconditionally. He had a seizure on Thursday night, and by Saturday afternoon we knew it was time. Man, I'm gonna miss him.
Sorry for the loss of your best buddy. We don't deserve these wonderful beings. My 15+ year old Jack Russell has to be wherever I am, checking things out. Always underfoot, which is a pain, but I know I'll miss it.
It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do. And it never gets easier. Sorry, man. Love and good feelings sent to you. Might take a few days, but it will get better.
My deepest condolences Pede. Lost my old pupper about a month ago. Had him when I was a kid and he lived long enough to see me into college. May our good boys be playing the best game of fetch in heaven.
RIP beautiful doggo. A pede certainly appreciates all the true friends and family they have these days (lord knows the number isn’t a large one for a lot of us, what with the commo coof and TDS brainwashing). Here’s to good friends, either two legged or four, and brighter days ahead.
I'm sorry friend, I hope you feel better soon. Many years ago, I lost my west highland terrier named Tazz that was one years older than me, to this day, his memory is alive in my mind.
I'm sure K9 friend will be by your side and waiting for you in hereafter.

Lost my Max, aka Mr. Tibbenson some years ago at 13. Now I have a 14 year old named Daisy I see slowing down. Gray hair and wobbly legs. But I'll love her as much as I can even after death. xoxo
