It's interesting to me to hear and see someone take a neutral stance. I regularly try to step away from arguments and put aside my own biases in order to understand both sides of that argument. He's definitely not "our guy" but he is trying to understand what happened in the last four years. He is flirting with leaving the left and is trying to figure out what the consequences will be.
