This has been something I've been thinking about a lot over the last few years.
Racism is a terrible thing, but the way it's been framed as a topic of immediate not only ostracization but as an ideology that justifies the murder of those that "might be racist" is probably even more dangerous than racism itself.
In the long term view of human society, racism has always been a thing, it's not that any one race is better than any other race it's just a "these are my people, they are like me, I know them they know me, those people over there are different, they have different ways and customs and are potentially dangerous."
The social justification of murdering people for holding viewpoints as old as humanity itself, based on aggressive anti-racist ideologies, is almost Spanish Inquisition level stuff when you really think about it.
I am not explicitly endorsing black on white or white on black racism or antisemitism or anything with this post, what I am saying in total is that the current 21st Century social ideology AGAINST racism is almost worse than racism itself.
